With an array of ever changing exhibitions, there is always something suitable to cater for different ages or topics being covered in the classroom. Some exhibitions have a special comprehensive Learning Connections program attached to them.  The Gallery served over 650 school age children during 2008-2009.  School and Group Tours can be booked by phoning the gallery.

Current School Visits

Riddoch Art Gallery is currently available to visit schools across the region. Staff are taking Indigenous artwork from the Gallery collection off site, educating children both on Indigenous culture and the role the Gallery plays in its preservation. Staff have also compiled an educational suitcase giving children a hands on experience in art processes, tools and a variety of mediums.

The aim is to both educate and entertain the children and offer teachers an additional educational resource. The Gallery can also tailor visits to suit particular requirements or areas of study for school groupls. lf you would like a vist to your school please contact the Gallery on 87239566.
