Summer Program!

The Riddoch and Mount Gambier Library have joined forces to deliver an action-packed bumper Summer Holiday program for kids and youth!

A two-day performance in which visitors to the Main Corner Complex &  Riddoch Gallery can contribute their voices to the creation of a synthetic voice, which will then be transformed by the artist into chants, songs, and speeches from the worldwide labour movement.

Posca Art Workshop

Do you love Posca Art? Are you between the ages of 12 and 25? Have you always wanted to express your art and personalise your very own surfboard, denim jacket, helmet, shoes, etc? Then this workshop is for you! Bring along your own item to work on and local artist Jeremy Ievins will work alongside you, showing you how to prepare your item for painting, tips and techniques using posca pens and how to seal your finished artwork. Bookings are essential and there are limited spaces available. The cost of the session is $40 and includes the use of the posca pens as well as an awesome experience with a local artist. Art Journal using Tags

Join local artist Fiona Paltridge at the Main Corner Complex on Saturday February 17th. Each class you will complete two journal pages and learn lots of new techniques.
Everything is supplied, just bring along an art journal.

10am – 12noon or
1pm – 3pm

Explore the use of tags in art journals. Tags can be fun to add dimension and interest to your work as well as be the perfect thing to write your journal jottings on. Whether you are an experienced art journaler or a beginner you will enjoy this fun creative class.
