Art Gallery provides an opportunity for primary age children to
further develop their artistic interest. Children can participate in school holiday workshops or the more comprehensive 'Take a Flight into Art' program.
Take a Flight into Art
Take a Flight into Art gives children an opportunity to explore different styles and techniques of art. Under the instruction of local artist Susie Clarke, children will participate in enjoyable and educational visual art sessions. Susie has a Bachelor of Visual Art and specializes in painting.
When: First Thursday of every month.
Where: Multi-function room, Mt Gambier Library
Cost: Free
Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
This eleven month program will include experimental and still life paintings, self-portraits, printmaking, expressive drawing, glass painting, using air dry clay and much more.
Maximum of 20 children. Parent/carer supervision required. For bookings or further information please contact the library on 87212540.
